Mr Ashok Rokade

Mr Ashok Rokade is a Consultant ENT Surgeon with specialist interests in rhinology, endoscopic sinus and anterior skull base surgery, and functional nasal and facial plastic surgery. He works at Hampshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, Winchester, and University Hospital Southampton, where he contributes to the tertiary rhinology and skull base service.

He is currently President of the British Rhinological Society (BRS) and serves on the ENT UK Council as the Wessex Regional Representative. He has a strong interest in the multidisciplinary management of inflammatory nasal and sinus disease, including evolving treatments for chronic rhinosinusitis, biologic therapies and allergic airway disease.

Mr Rokade is actively involved in postgraduate education and international rhinology training. He is the Founder and Director of the Global Rhinology Network (GRN), an international educational platform reaching clinicians across more than 130 countries, and is ENT Lead at Southampton Medical School. He is also an Honorary Senior Lecturer at Edge Hill University and Section Editor for Anterior Skull Base Surgery in the 9th edition of Scott-Brown’s Otorhinolaryngology and Head & Neck Surgery.

His academic and educational interests include inflammatory rhinological disease, optimisation of medical and surgical treatment, biologics, functional nasal surgery, endoscopic sinus surgery and multidisciplinary rhinology care.
