Dr Kirsty Gillies is a GP with an extended role in women’s health.
Kirsty currently works as an NHS GP in East Devon, as well as working within the Devon Menopause Service. She is a board member for the Primary Care Women’s Health Society. Kirsty works for St Erme Medical, a private clinic, seeing women’s health patients in Exeter. In addition, she is a GP appraiser.
Kirsty is actively involved in medical education. She teaches undergraduate medical students at the University of Exeter Medical School, delivering lectures on women’s health. She provides education for healthcare professionals both locally and nationally. She teaches on the Menopause Special Skills course and is a menopause trainer for the Faculty of Sexual and Reproductive Healthcare.
Outside of work, Kirsty is married to a GP, has two teenage sons, and a large golden retriever. She enjoys walking, baking, and supporting her sons from the sidelines at their sporting events.
