Nora Young

Nora Young founded BREWS CIC in 2021. She has ADHD and is the proud parent of autistic/ADHD children.

She was a schoolteacher for 27 years, working in Birmingham and in Hull. She then worked in the voluntary sector and with Early Help for Families.

Having lived experience of the impact ADHD has had on her own mental health and her children’s she is passionate about supporting the mental health and wellbeing of neurodivergent families in Birmingham.

She runs courses for parents and carers of children with ADHD called Nurturing ADHD Kids and also trains school staff, support workers, third sector organisations and medical practices in how to support neurodivergent families.
