Meet the Speakers

Dr Estelle McFadden
GP Partner Ridge Medical Practice in Bradford
GPwER in Neurology and Epilepsy

Dr McFadden graduated from Dundee in 1996, before moving to Leeds, to take up a medical rotation at Leeds General Infirmary and attained Membership of the Royal College of Physicians (MRCP).

She gained experience in Neurology and Rehabilitation Medicine in Leeds and at the Queen’s Medical Centre in Nottingham and also undertook a period of research at the University of Leeds resulting in the degree of Doctor of Medicine (MD), before deciding on a career in General Practice.

Dr McFadden is a partner at the Ridge Medical Practice in Bradford and as a member of the Royal College of Physicians and the Royal College of General Practitioners has combined these skills to become a GPwER (GP with extended role) in Neurology and Epilepsy.

Lesley is a retired GP who worked in Birmingham. She is currently a trustee and chair of PoTS UK, the national charity that affects people with postural tachycardia syndrome. She has authored a number of journal papers on PoTS and syncope, and co-authored a textbook on PoTS. She was part of the team that developed the NICE acute and long covid guidelines. Lesley was appointed RCGP syncope clinical champion and led their Syncope Spotlight Project.
