Dr David Capehorn Dr David Capehorn has been a qualified doctor for nearly 37 years. He trained at the University of Bristol and has always been based around Bristol and Gloucestershire. He has a broad range of experience, but his specialist expertise lies in paediatrics.
Dr Capehorn has worked in various roles at Bristol Children’s Hospital for over 30 years, having undertaken training in paediatric emergency medicine and having written a textbook on the subject. He continues to work as an Honorary Associate Specialist in paediatric emergency medicine in the Emergency Department at Bristol Children’s Hospital alongside his work as a GP.
Married and a proud father and step-father, Dr Capehorn balances his busy professional life with time for his family. He enjoys sports such as tennis, playing to a reasonable level, and has a particular love of rare and obscure Delta Blues and Chicago Blues music – much to the amusement of his family!
