Explore how menopause influences the cardiovascular system and alters cardiovascular risk factors.
We will address the ongoing debate around hormone replacement therapy (HRT) and its impact on cardiovascular disease, reviewing the latest evidence and clarifying what clinicians should be communicating to patients. Finally, we’ll consider the use of HRT in women over 60, as well as in those with elevated cardiovascular risk or a prior history of cardiovascular disease.
