Discover how the hormonal transitions of perimenopause and menopause influence the brain.
We will explore the intersection of menopause and mental health, considering both pre-existing conditions and new-onset challenges. We will unpack the concept of ‘brain fog’- what it means, why it occurs, and how it can be managed. We’ll also examine the debate around hormone replacement therapy (HRT) and dementia, reviewing the latest evidence. Finally, we’ll discuss evidence-based strategies to support mental health and cognition during this stage of life, with a focus on the critical role of sleep.
