Using a Coaching Approach to Support Others

This session will introduce you to a coaching style of management. It will raise your awareness of the key coaching skills which can help individuals you manage or support to find their own solutions, use initiative and become more confident in their roles.

The session will include:

• defining coaching in the context of management and supporting colleagues;
   
• the benefits of using a coaching style and knowing when it is appropriate to do so;
   
• learn how to use a popular coaching framework to support and structure a coaching conversation;
   
• develop self-awareness and confidence in using listening and questioning skills and techniques to help individuals find their own solutions.
