Meet the Speaker
Dr Finbar McGrady

I qualified from QUB in 1999. I completed my GP training in 2004,
before taking up GP Partnership. A sabbatical to Brisbane in 2012/13
saw my interest in skin lesion recognition grow. I undertook several
courses in dermoscopy and skin cancer management.
I am currently a Clinical Teaching Fellow in the Centre for Medical Education at QUB;
GPwSI Dermatology and Sessional GP.
I was clinical lead for Dermatology Elective Care Reform in South Eastern Trust and
helped with the establishment of a Primary Care Dermatology Service.
I was awarded best Poster Prize at World Congress of Dermoscopy in Thessaloniki,
Greece in June, 2018 for my work in education of GPs in lesion recognition. I continue
to teach skin lesion recognition to GPs, nurses and medical students.
